Beaucroft is a Foundation Special School in Colehill, Wimborne that caters for children and young people between 4 and 19 who experience learning difficulties, including complex needs and those with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Our relationship with Beaucroft began in early 2017 when we donated £5,000 to fund a new purpose built piece of playground equipment. By being located adjacent to the Junior Department, this play are has made a real difference in the pupils’ lives as they are able to frequently visit it for regular sensory breaks, reward time and for social interaction with their peers.
Having seen the benefits of the playground equipment and experienced what a special place Beaucroft is, we were only too happy in November 2017 to donate an additional £1,000 to help fund the school’s Disneyland Trip. This will see 22 pupils, supported by 8 adults have the trip of a lifetime in April 2018.
